Meanwhile, back at the table…

“You’re still not over your ex,” Melody said.

“I am!” Sarah said.

“You have a funny way of showing it.”

“Excuse me, but it’s still a bit awkward seeing my ex again, especially since she cheated on me.”

“That doesn’t make any sense.”

“Actually, it does,” Steve said.

“How?” Melody asked.

“Yeah, Steve,” Shelly said. “How?”

“Sarah, do you have unresolved feelings for Allison?” Steve asked.

“No!” Sarah exclaimed.

“Are you sure about that?”

“Yeah, I’m sure. Otherwise, Mel and I wouldn’t be together.”

“Okay. Do you still miss your parents?”

“Like hell, I do!”

“But does it still hurts that they ‘ve kicked you out?”

“Of course it does!”

“Now, I get it!” Melody said. “I’m sorry for accusing you of not getting over Allison.”

“It’s okay,” Sarah said.

Michael and Allison returned to their table.

“Is everything alright” Michael asked.

“Yeah,” Melody said. “Everything’s alright.”

The teenagers enjoyed the rest of the night. However, things were a little awkward when Allison and Sarah were in the washroom.

“Hey,” Allison said.

“Hey,” Sarah said.

“I’m so sorry I cheated on you.”
