“How are you feeling?” Melody asked. “Sorry, stupid question. Anyway, uh, we got a situation.”
“We need to go back to Earth and kill the Leviathans,” Alex said.
“Are you serious?” Steve asked.
“Yes! They killed Mom!”
“I think we need to calm down,” Angel said.
“I think we need to go back to Earth,” Steve said.
“How about we take a further look at what’s happening on Earth?”
The Crew made their way to the bridge of the ship and they watched the events that were taking place on Earth.
They saw Larry in his cabin, suffering from a panic attack over Martha’s death. But once Larry sat down, he slowly regained his composure. That’s when he heard a knock on the door.
“Come in,” Larry said.
“Hey, I’m just checking up on you,” Brenda said.
“Thanks. But I think I need to be alone at the moment.”
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?”
“I don’t know. But that’s what I want.”
“Okay. If you’re sure. Just to let you know that there’s a big group of people out there you can talk to.”
“I appreciate that.”
When Brenda left, Larry sat on the couch, and a lot ran through his mind. Larry knew that he should wait to form a strategy with his fellow campers to take down the Leviathans. However, he couldn’t bear seeing anyone get hurt. Plus, Martha was just killed, while Steve and Alex are somewhere in space. Larry also never spoke to his mother in years. The only family member Larry had left was his father, and he didn’t have long left to live. Larry would rather die seeking revenge for Martha as opposed to living without her. All in all he had nothing to lose. So late that night, while everybody was asleep, Larry geared and up and he left the cabin.
