Meanwhile, Alex just sat in his seat in complete shock. Shelly and Angel went out to the hallway to comfort Steve, while Melody, Sarah, and Allison tried to comfort Alex. Michael just gave the TV a cold stare.

“My father is with a group of cold-blooded murders,” Michael said.

“Michael!” Allison yelled.

“It’s true. He’s with a group of people who killed two people so far, and one of them is my best friend’s mother. We need to go to Earth and kill every leviathan on Earth. Most importantly, I need to kill my father!”

“Seriously, this is not the time, Michael.”

“Michael is right,” Alex said. “I already wanted to go back to Earth, but now I want to more than ever. Those bastards killed my mother. We need to kill them all, slowly and painfully.”

Meanwhile, in the hallway…

“I’m so sorry, Steve,” Angel said. “Believe it or not, I know exactly what you’re going through.”

“Really?” Steve asked, while he was still crying.

“Yeah. In fact, I lost both of my parents when I was young. My father was a firefighter and my mother was a police officer. When I was ten years old, a bank robber killed my mother. When I was twelve, my father died, saving a baby from a burning building. In both cases, I was devastated.”

“How did you get over it?”

“Over time, the pain lessens. Although the emotional injury will always be there. Other than that, I just kept myself busy and every few nights, I cried myself to sleep. But everybody grieves their own way.”

“I want to see what else happens on Earth.”

“We’ll all have to go to the bridge then.”

The rest of the The Crew came out of the room.
